The PCE-CS 500LD force gauge measures loads from 0 ... 500 kg (0 ... 1102 lbs) with an accuracy of ±1% of range. It has a metal housing for harsh environments, a hook and shackle with a 23 mm hook opening, and a large LCD with 41 mm digits and adjustable backlight. The side keypad sets the unit and resets the zero point.

The included remote control operates the gauge from a distance and sets the backlight, totalising function and automatic switch-off. Totalising adds loads hung one after another. Besides kg and lb, a user-defined unit can be set by entering a multiplier for the measured kg value. Batteries last approx. 45 hours. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an option.
