The coating thickness gauge is used to quickly and accurately locate the coating thickness of metal surfaces. Compared to many other paint thickness gauges, this coating thickness gauge does not need to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the device, it is possible to operate it with one hand. The coating thickness measuring device has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm).
The user has the possibility to choose a measurement unit (μm, mm, mils). In addition to the thickness of the coating, the caliper measures the smallest, largest and also the average value of a number of different measurements. The device turns off automatically.
