PCE-DRC 1 is a handheld digital refractometer. It measures the specific gravity (sg) of battery electrolyte and the freezing point of ethylene or propylene glycol coolants and antifreeze. It also works on cleaning products. Trucking and automotive technicians use it worldwide to check coolant dilution.

The ABS housing is rated IP65 against water and dust. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) covers +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F. The large LCD shows the measured value and the temperature. Close the lid before measuring.
