The PCE-EM 883 is a 5-in-1 environmental meter. It measures sound level, light, wind speed, air temperature and relative humidity. Each parameter has its own external sensor, supplied with the meter.

The compact housing allows one-handed use, with only eight easily accessible buttons. HOLD, MAX and MIN functions freeze and track readings, and the backlit LCD stays readable in dark places. The meter is portable, so readings can be taken at different locations on site. A 1/4 inch tripod thread is provided and the unit switches off automatically after 15 minutes.

Hygrometers - Room Thermometers

The indoor hygrometers and thermometers (often referred to as thermo-hygrometers) are instruments for monitoring environmental conditions in indoor spaces. They allow simultaneous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity (% RH), ensuring occupant comfort and protecting sensitive materials from mold or drying out.

  • Functions: They feature high-response sensors, maximum/minimum value memory (Min/Max) and often a comfort level indicator (Comfort Level).
  • Applications: Essential in homes, offices, food storage areas, server rooms, museums and greenhouses.
  • Features: They are available as simple digital units for home use and as recording units (data loggers) for professional monitoring, with the ability to export data to a computer.
