The PCE-G28 is a handheld gauss meter for electromagnetic fields (EMFs). It shows readings in milliGauss (mG) or microTesla (µT) and works with an external 3-axis sensor covering the X, Y and Z directions. The measuring range is 0 ... 20000 mG / 0 ... 2000 µT with a resolution of 0.1 mG / 0.01 µT.

Typical uses are checking transformers and measuring EMFs from power lines, computer monitors, electric motors and installations. The sensor reads fields through casings, coverings and housings, so parts need not be dismantled. A data hold function freezes the reading on the LCD.
