The PCE-MFM 2400 is a handheld gaussmeter for static magnetic fields. It measures up to 2,400 mT (24,000 G) with an accuracy of 1% and shows readings in tesla or gauss. The transverse Hall sensor sits on a 1 m cable.

Typical uses are checking the field of relays and permanent magnets in production and quality control. The backlit LCD stays readable in poor lighting. The meter switches itself off after 5 minutes.
