  • Adjustable frequencies and amplitudes (RMS)
  • 15.92 to 1280 Hz
  • Amplitudes 1 to 20 m/s²
  • Calibrates sensors up to 600 g
  • 7 frequencies, 5 amplitudes
  • Load-independent vibration magnitude

PCE-VC21 is a portable shaker vibration calibrator for vibration sensors, meters, analysers and testers. It produces mechanical vibration at 7 quartz-stabilised frequencies from 15.92 to 1280 Hz and 5 amplitudes from 1 m/s² to 20 m/s², for equipment weighing up to 600 g (1.32 lb). A control circuit and a reference accelerometer inside the shaker head keep the vibration level constant and load-independent.

The display shows the error %, the deviation of measured amplitude from the target, approaching 0.0 % when calibration is correct. Above 3 % a buzzer sounds; on overload the unit switches off automatically. Sensors mount by magnet or thread; the supplied adapter fits M3, M5, M8, 1/4"-28 and UNF 10-32.

From our Wiki

Vibration Meters

Vibration meters (vibration meters) are predictive maintenance instruments that record mechanical vibrations in rotating machinery. They are used for early fault diagnosis by analyzing acceleration, velocity, and displacement, enabling the identification of problems before they lead to catastrophic failure or production downtime.

  • Analysis Parameters: They measure vibration magnitude (RMS) and peak (Peak), while advanced models perform frequency analysis FFT.
  • Applications: Ideal for checking motors, pumps, fans, and bearings in industrial facilities.
  • Diagnostic Value: They help identify imbalance (unbalance), misalignment, component looseness, and wear of rolling elements.
