The PCE-CSM 3 colorimeter illuminates the sample from all angles and measures the intensity of the reflected light at an angle of 8° from the sample surface. This method is suitable for quality control of the color of a surface regardless of its texture and gloss. The colorimeter allows the user to select between different color spaces (CIE L*a*b*C*h, CIE L*a*b* and CIE XYZ) and store a measurement as a reference value so that they can compares prospectively with any other measurement it receives. The PCE-CSM 3 can store up to 100 reference values and up to 20000 measurements. Measurement data can also be transferred to a computer via a USB port. Special computer software is included in the package.
