The PCE-PQC 32EU is a particle counter for real-time measurement of airborne particles. It measures 6 user-selectable particle size channels and, optionally, temperature and relative humidity. It stores up to 45,000 readings with a time stamp.

The unit mounts on a rod or wall. It connects to building automation and clean room management systems via Ethernet or, optionally, Wireless 802.11 b/g, RS485 or RS232. You can control and monitor it remotely in a web browser. Extra weather sensors can be added. A calibration certificate traceable to NIST is included.

Dust Meters

Dust meters (or particle counters) are air quality monitoring instruments that detect the concentration of suspended particles (Particulate Matter - PM). Their operation is usually based on laser scattering (laser scattering) technology, where a beam of light strikes the particles and the sensor calculates their size and quantity.

  • Particle Categories:PM2.5: Fine particles (up to 2.5 μm) that penetrate deep into the lungs and the bloodstream.PM10: Particles (up to 10 μm) such as dust, pollen, and mold.
  • Applications:Industry: Dust control in carpentry workshops, cement plants, and mines to protect workers.Cleanrooms (Cleanrooms): Certification of pharmaceutical or electronics production areas.Environment: Monitoring of air pollution and "smog" in cities.
  • Features: They include a data recording function (data logging), audible limit-exceedance alerts, and often also measure temperature and humidity in parallel.
