The PCE-MA 202 is a moisture analyser (moisture balance) that weighs and dries samples to determine their moisture content. Halogen lamps heat the drying chamber up to 199 °C. The analyser dries the sample and calculates moisture content from the weight loss. With a resolution of 10 mg / 0.01 g / 0.01 %, it detects very small weight differences. Results appear on a large, easy-to-read LCD.

The memory stores up to 15 drying programmes. Typical samples include food, biomass, pellets, pastes, animal feed, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils and legumes, as well as soil, sand, ceramic clay, resin and brick materials. The included 100 g weight allows quick calibration at any time.
