Description
A profile projector is an optical inspection instrument that projects a part’s silhouette onto a Ø400mm screen for dimensional and geometric measurement. It is used to check profiles, edges, radii, angles, and distances on machined components, cutting tools, and precision parts, using adjustable contour/surface illumination and a measuring stage with X-Z travel plus Y (focus) movement.
