Thread Repair Kits

Thread repair kits restore damaged internal threads in holes by re-tapping and installing an insert, creating a new, reliable thread of the same pitch. Available in metric (M) and inch (UNC, UNF, BSW, BSF, BSP/G, NPT) threads, plus special kits (spark-plug, bicycle). Ideal for parts affected by wear, cross-threading, or over-tightening.

Each kit covers a range of diameters and pitches, with inserts in different lengths, taps, drills, and installation/removal tools, from Baer & Hepyc. Choose based on the base material (aluminum, steel) and required thread engagement depth.

Common in workshops, machining, and maintenance where fast, durable repair is needed without replacing the component.
