The PCE-TG 300-P5EE is an ultrasonic thickness gauge for measuring the wall thickness of any homogeneous material. It works in pulse-echo or echo-echo mode and measures up to 600 mm. Echo-echo mode also measures coated workpieces. The sound velocity is freely adjustable to suit different materials.
Several sensors are available. A special sensor handles damping or scattering materials such as plastic or cast. An angled 90° sensor reaches awkward measuring points. Because the method is non-destructive, you can measure finished products. Readings appear on a TFT colour display. The internal memory stores readings by measuring point, and optional software reads them out.
