The PCE-DRB 2 is a portable digital refractometer used to determine the refractive index and the liquid content of dextrin, fructose, glucose, lactose, and maltose (%). This digital refractometer with IP65 protection class (waterproof) features automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from +10 ... +40 °C / +50 ... +104 °F, as well as a large, easy-to-read LCD display showing both the measured value and temperature.
The knowledge of the fructose level allows drawing conclusions about the quality and ripeness of products, such as various types of fruits. The fructose level in fruits changes over time and it is important to determine the best time with the optimal fructose content, so that not only the best fruits are delivered to consumers, but also to provide the best material for the production of juices and jams.
