With the grain moisture meter, the moisture can be measured easily, comfortably and with particular precision so as to avoid their deterioration. The grain moisture meter was specially developed to reliably determine the moisture content of 18 different types of cereals (wheat, corn, japonica rice, Indian rice, soybeans, rice, sorghum, canola, millet, peanuts, barley, sunflower seeds, coffee beans, cocoa, sesame, almond, flaxseed).
The measurement range of the grain moisture meter varies from 4.5 to 40% depending on the type of grain. To measure the moisture content, only a very small sample volume of about 65 ml is required. The grain sample is placed in the small measuring container of the grain moisture meter, which can be cleaned quickly and easily after use with the cleaning brush. Crushing the grains is not necessary for measurement. The grain moisture meter automatically performs temperature measurement, displaying the value directly on the large LC display, is battery operated and extremely easy to use with just four buttons. To protect the battery, the grain moisture meter automatically goes into sleep mode after three minutes of non-use. In addition, it provides the user with the ability to recalibrate it. Due to its portability, the moisture meter can be used at any time, whether during storage, drying or threshing of grain and grain, as it is also an important tool for regular quality control in the field of grain cultivation.
