The PCE-HM 2000 heating mantle heats samples, fluids and chemicals in round-bottom flasks of up to 2000 ml. The flask sits in a crocheted net and is heated by a heating element underneath. It is used mainly in laboratories to heat or temper samples.
The mantle has 450 W of power and reaches up to 450 °C, with a temperature range of 0 ... 450 °C. Its short heat-up time lets it heat the full 2 litres quickly. An integrated controller with a stepless rotary switch sets the temperature.
