The PCE-HM 5000 is a laboratory heating mantle for round-bottom flasks of up to 5000 ml. It heats or tempers samples, fluids and chemicals. The flask sits in a knitted net and is heated by an element beneath it.

The mantle has 800 W of power and a temperature range of 0 ... 450 °C. Heat-up time is short, even for the full 5 litres. An integrated controller with a stepless rotary switch sets the temperature.
