The PCE-HVAC 2 is a pitot tube anemometer that measures air velocity, differential pressure, air flow and temperature. Its angled pitot tube handles high air velocities up to 80 m/s (178.66 mph). Velocity is shown in m/s, knots, km/h, mph or ft/min. The tube is 33.5 cm long and only 8 mm in diameter, so it fits small openings, confined spaces and pipe systems. It is mainly used in air conditioning and ventilation, for example in ducts, and for high wind speeds.
Two 85 cm hoses connect the L-shaped tube to the meter. The supplied software shows live readings on a PC via USB. Auto power-off after 20 min saves the battery. Optional extras are stainless-steel pitot tubes in other sizes and the CAL-AM ISO calibration certificate (DIN ISO 9000), with annual recalibration.
