The PCE-HVAC 3 is a multifunction HVAC meter for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. Built-in sensors measure relative humidity and ambient (dry-bulb) temperature. From these readings, the meter calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in °C and °F. Typical uses are HVAC installation work and HVAC system performance checks.

The large backlit display and six buttons make it easy to read and use. It takes spot readings and can also monitor climate changes over time. For long-term monitoring, you can disable auto power-off and use the min/max function to record extreme values over a chosen period. A hold function freezes the reading. A thread on the back allows tripod mounting.

Hygrometers - Room Thermometers

The indoor hygrometers and thermometers (often referred to as thermo-hygrometers) are instruments for monitoring environmental conditions in indoor spaces. They allow simultaneous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity (% RH), ensuring occupant comfort and protecting sensitive materials from mold or drying out.

  • Functions: They feature high-response sensors, maximum/minimum value memory (Min/Max) and often a comfort level indicator (Comfort Level).
  • Applications: Essential in homes, offices, food storage areas, server rooms, museums and greenhouses.
  • Features: They are available as simple digital units for home use and as recording units (data loggers) for professional monitoring, with the ability to export data to a computer.
