This multi-position magnetic stirrer is particularly suitable for serial screening. The 10 synchronized rotating stirring points of the magnetic stirrer with an adjustable stirring speed between 300 and 1500 rpm in 10 rpm steps can stir volumes of up to 400 ml per stirring point in vessels with a diameter of approximately 80 mm. Stirring times can be set from 1 to 999 minutes. The PCE-MSR 410 has a pulse stirring function, that is to periodically stir the solutions for specific time intervals as well as the function of changing the direction of stirring. The magnetic stirrer provides a time interval between 30 and 99 seconds as the change interval.
The stirring platform of the magnetic stirrer is made of stainless steel and coated with a layer of silicone to prevent slipping.
