Firmware upgrade that converts a PCE-428, PCE-430 or PCE-432 sound level meter from octave band to 1/3 octave band filtering. The 1/1 octave filter on the PCE-430/432 shows 12 bands. The 1/3 octave filter shows 36 bands from 6.3 Hz to 20 kHz with bar graphs. On the PCE-428 the display covers 20 to 12.5 kHz. Thresholds can be set for each band.
New orders include the unlock code with the meter; the customer enters it in the device menu. For add-on orders, state the serial number of the sound level meter when ordering the 1/3 octave kit. Firmware and upgrade program are sent by email.
