Description
The PCE-PFG is a portable digital force gauge for measuring tensile and compressive forces. It works at a 500 Hz sampling rate and offers four measurement modes: real time (RT), peak value (PEAK), average value (Average) and automatic memory storage.
Readings and their statistical evaluation (MIN / MAX / average) are shown on the graphic display and can be transferred to a PC over the USB-B interface. The MIN / MAX limit function drives a multi-coloured LED (yellow / green / red) and a 2.85 V switching contact.
The display rotates and the instrument can be mounted on a test stand using the M4 threaded holes on the back. Battery life is up to 36 hours per charge.
Load cell: on the 10...500 N models the load cell is internal and force is applied through an M6 x 10 mm thread. The 2000 N model uses an external S-type load cell (52 x 72 x 19 mm, M12 thread) on a 1.8 m cable.
