The PCE-PVS 10 is a vibration sensor for continuous monitoring of vibration speed. It measures ±12.7 mm/s in the frequency range 3 ... 1500 Hz; a second version covers ±25.4 mm/s. The measured value is output as a 4 ... 20 mA process current.

The sensor is looped through a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector to a controller or process display. On this version the connection socket is vertical; horizontal versions are also available. Power is 12 ... 24 V DC in the current loop. It mounts via an M6 thread and withstands shocks up to ±1000 g at -40 ... 85 °C.

Vibration Meters

Vibration meters (vibration meters) are predictive maintenance instruments that record mechanical vibrations in rotating machinery. They are used for early fault diagnosis by analyzing acceleration, velocity, and displacement, enabling the identification of problems before they lead to catastrophic failure or production downtime.
