The PCE-SLD 10 is a sound level data logger for permanent noise monitoring, with a measuring range of 30 ... 130 dB. It shows the reading on the display, logs it to SD card and outputs it as a 4 ... 20 mA analogue signal. Frequency weighting is A or C, time weighting fast or slow.

Readings are saved as an Excel file, so the SD card can be removed after a measurement and the data evaluated without extra software. Power comes from 6 x 1.5 V AAA batteries or the supplied plug-in mains adapter. Typical uses: showing the noise level on a large display in a production hall, or working with switchgear to close windows and doors when the sound level is exceeded.
