The PCE-VA 11 is a handheld vane anemometer that measures air speed, air flow, air temperature and infrared (IR) temperature. It responds quickly, gives real-time readings and suits low air velocities. The impeller is on a 1.2 m (3.93 ft) cable and has a thread for fixed mounting. This lets you measure inside ducts and hard-to-reach HVAC components. Readings appear on the meter or on a PC in real time.
The backlit LCD shows air speed in m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots or mph, air flow in CFM or CMM, and temperatures in °C or °F. A laser pointer helps aim the IR measurement. Ambient air temperature measurement switches off while the laser is in use. Typical uses are testing, adjusting and balancing HVAC systems and exhaust fans. It measures air flow indoors and wind speed outdoors. It also suits draught checks in schools, offices, healthcare facilities and livestock stables, and work in construction and mining. PCE offers calibration on request, with a traceable calibration certificate.
