The PCE-VM 22 vibration meter measures acceleration from 0 to 200 m/s², plus velocity, displacement, frequency and an ISO 18016-3 measurement. The FFT spectrum is shown during the measurement, and one button switches to the waveform view. The magnetic holder mounts on curved surfaces with a minimum radius of 20 mm / 0.78".
An external infrared sensor reads surface temperatures from -70 to 380 °C / 158 to 716 °F. Non-contact optical speed measurement checks the rpm of ventilation systems and similar equipment. Readings are stored in 4 GB of memory and transferred to a PC over micro USB; free analysis software is available. Typical use is maintenance on generators and motors. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an option.
