The PCE-VT 3800 is a hand-held vibration meter with an external sensor for checking vibrating parts, machines and plant. It measures vibration displacement up to 3.9 mm, vibration velocity up to 399.9 mm/s and vibration acceleration up to 399.9 m/s². Measurement parameters are RMS, peak, peak-to-peak and crest factor. Automatic evaluation to ISO 10816-3 gives a good/bad rating of the current vibration state of a machine, for example during repair and maintenance work.
Readings are saved manually or automatically in the internal memory and read out on a PC. The software shows the data as graphs and tables, exports CSV files and runs firmware updates. The built-in 2500 mAh LiPo battery lasts up to 20 hours and recharges via micro-USB.
