  • Complies with ISO 2954
  • 10 Hz ... 10 kHz
  • X, Y, Z or single axis
  • Weighs only 163 g
  • RS232C interface

The PCE-VM 10 is a 3-axis accelerometer that measures acceleration, vibration velocity and vibration displacement on the X, Y and Z axes or on a single axis. It works in accordance with ISO 2954 to detect unbalance, misalignment and mechanical faults in rotating machinery, for quality control, commissioning and predictive maintenance on site.

The frequency range is 10 Hz to 10 kHz. The 3-axis piezoelectric sensor takes a magnetic base or one of two measuring tips, conical and spherical. Units are mm/s, inch/s, m/s², g, ft/s², mm and mil, with a MAX function for the highest reading. Backlit 2-inch LCD, 163 g / 0.4 lbs, automatic power-off after 30 minutes of inactivity.

From our Wiki

Vibration Meters

Vibration meters (vibration meters) are predictive maintenance instruments that record mechanical vibrations in rotating machinery. They are used for early fault diagnosis by analyzing acceleration, velocity, and displacement, enabling the identification of problems before they lead to catastrophic failure or production downtime.

  • Analysis Parameters: They measure vibration magnitude (RMS) and peak (Peak), while advanced models perform frequency analysis FFT.
  • Applications: Ideal for checking motors, pumps, fans, and bearings in industrial facilities.
  • Diagnostic Value: They help identify imbalance (unbalance), misalignment, component looseness, and wear of rolling elements.
