  • RMS, peak and FFT
  • Piezoelectric accelerometer
  • IP67 rated
  • Programmable high and low pass filters
  • Setup via USB and PC
  • Analysis software included

The PCE-VS12 is a vibration meter, analyser and sensor switch for condition monitoring. It measures the RMS value, peak value and frequency domain (FFT) of vibration velocity or acceleration with a piezoelectric accelerometer. Programmable high pass and low pass filters set the frequency band.

Typical uses are machine condition monitoring and quality control. The IP67 housing keeps out water and dust. The unit has an external USB port and an 8-pin female connector 711. Setup is done from a PC over USB, and the supplied software is used for detailed vibration analysis.

Vibration Meters

Vibration meters (vibration meters) are predictive maintenance instruments that record mechanical vibrations in rotating machinery. They are used for early fault diagnosis by analyzing acceleration, velocity, and displacement, enabling the identification of problems before they lead to catastrophic failure or production downtime.

  • Analysis Parameters: They measure vibration magnitude (RMS) and peak (Peak), while advanced models perform frequency analysis FFT.
  • Applications: Ideal for checking motors, pumps, fans, and bearings in industrial facilities.
  • Diagnostic Value: They help identify imbalance (unbalance), misalignment, component looseness, and wear of rolling elements.
