The PCE-IR 80 is a digital food thermometer. It measures temperature without contact by infrared and by contact with a stainless steel needle probe. It is used for quick temperature checks in canteen kitchens, catering services, refrigerated warehouses and warehouses.

In infrared mode it measures from -35 ... 330 °C (-31 ... 626 °F), with adjustable emissivity. As a penetration thermometer, the probe measures core temperature from -20 ... 260 °C (-4 ... 500 °F). Response time is 10 ms and resolution is 0.1 °C. The unit switches between °C and °F. It runs on a CR2032 battery.
