The PCE-IR 80 infrared thermometer is used for quick temperature checks of food. The thermometer is used in canteen kitchens, catering services, refrigerators, and storage rooms. The thermometer has two measurement types. On the one hand, the PCE-IR 80 thermometer can measure the temperature of an object without contact via infrared. Here the measurement range is -35 ... 330°C / -31 ... 626°F. The emissivity coefficient of the thermometer is adjustable to always achieve the best measurement results.
On the other hand, the PCE-IR 80 features a stainless steel penetration sensor, so the meter can also be used as an infrared penetration thermometer. The thermometer can measure temperatures between -20 ... 260°C / -4 ... 500°F. The penetration thermometer unit can be switched between °C and °F. The fast response time of 10 ms and the high resolution of 0.1°C / 1.8°F make the infrared thermometer one of the best choices in its category. Includes CR2032 battery.
