The PCE-BTE 10 is a battery tester that uses conductance measurement to check the condition of vehicle batteries quickly and accurately. It works with all common lead-acid batteries: standard, AGM, gel and EFB. It detects faulty batteries without charging them fully first. It also tests the starter and charging system on 12 V and 24 V vehicles, with ripple measurement to assess charging quality. It is designed for workshops, battery factories and vehicle service.
Results appear on a 2.4-inch TFT colour display (240 × 320 pixels). The measuring range is 8V ... 30V DC and 100 ... 2000 A. Results transfer over USB as a CSV file, or to an Android device via QR code. A battery voltage waveform display can also be sent to the PC software. Reverse polarity protection prevents damage to the device.
