The PCE-DC 25 is a clamp meter for AC/DC current from 0 to 1000 A. It measures current inductively through the clamp. It accepts live conductors up to 32 mm (1.2") in diameter, and the clamp opening is 34 mm (1.3"). An optional Rogowski coil extends the range to 3000 A AC. It also measures inrush current. This matters for motors, such as those in ventilation systems or hall lighting, which draw a high current at switch-on.
It also measures voltage from 0 to 1000 V AC/DC, resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature. You select the function with a rotary switch. The NCV function detects voltage without contact. A red LED lights at 150 V AC in every function. A built-in LED lamp lights the measuring point. Via Bluetooth, the meter connects to Android or iOS devices. The free app displays, saves and processes readings. The measuring rate is 3 Hz, and the meter switches off automatically.
