The PCE-LT 15 is a LAN tester and digital multimeter in one device. It checks 8-pin data cables with RJ-45 connectors for continuity, open connections and short circuits. It also detects the most common network installation errors, so you can check network peripherals quickly.
As a multimeter, it measures DC and AC voltage and resistance. It also offers a continuity test with buzzer and a diode test. Two rows of LEDs show the pin assignment of the cable under test, one pin after another. If there is a short circuit, more than two LEDs light up at once.
