Such electrostatic charges can be found with the Gauss meter. Therefore, the electromagnetic field meter is used for testing in laboratories with ESD protection. The measurement range is ±60 kV DC.
The meter can be earthed with an alligator clip included in the package to prevent loss of measurement due to electric shock. Lasers in the meter are used to optimally align the sensors.
In addition to measuring radiation, the PCE-SFS 10 measures ambient temperature and humidity. The meter is powered by a 9 V battery with a maximum autonomy of 20 hours. The current battery status is shown on the screen.
