Such electrostatic charges can be detected with the Gauss meter. Therefore, the electromagnetic field meter is used for testing in ESD-protected laboratories. The measurement range is ±60 kV DC.
The meter can be grounded with a crocodile clip included in the package to prevent measurement loss due to electric shock. The lasers on the meter are used for optimal alignment of the sensors.
Besides measuring radiation, the PCE-SFS 10 measures ambient temperature and humidity. The meter is powered by a 9 V battery with a maximum autonomy of 20 hours. The current battery status is displayed on the screen.
