Robust design / Battery operation
The The ultrasonic detector is used to locate leaks in compressed air lines, refrigerant lines, or gas lines. Its operating frequency is 40 kHz with a special filter that ensures all noise frequencies below 40 kHz are filtered out to enable better leak detection.
In addition to acoustic leak detection, the signal strength is displayed on the screen. The sensor features a laser pointer for better targeting of pipes or pressure vessels. A probe can also be attached to the sensor, which helps in accurately locating leaks. Depending on the operating pressure in the pipeline, the user can safely detect a leak from a distance of up to 18 meters / 59 feet. The detector operates with a rechargeable battery with a 6-hour runtime. It is delivered with a sturdy carrying case that includes all accessories.
