The PCE-MPC 20 is a portable particle counter for air quality monitoring. It counts airborne particles in three sizes (0.3, 2.5 and 10 μm) and measures the mass concentrations PM2.5 and PM10. It also measures temperature, humidity and dew point. A built-in pump keeps the flow rate at 2.83 l/min.
Readings appear on the display, including a real-time graph. Up to 5,000 data sets can be stored for later analysis. The internal battery gives about 4 hours of continuous mobile use. The meter is used wherever fine dust may be a health hazard: incineration, manufacturing, energy production, vehicle engine emissions and construction.
