The PCE-HM 500 is a laboratory heating mantle for round-bottom flasks of up to 500 ml. It heats or tempers samples and chemicals over a range of 0 ... 450 °C with 250 W of heating power.

The flask sits in a knitted mesh inside the mantle. The temperature is set directly on the unit with a stepless rotary switch and is held by the integrated controller. Heat-up is fast.
