The PCE-LMD 5 is a photometer that measures illuminance from 0 to 400 kLux. It uses an external silicon photodiode probe with a spectral filter, so you can position the sensor to suit each task. Readings appear in lux or footcandles, both as a value and on a scale.
MIN and MAX show the lowest and highest readings. REL shows the reading relative to a reference, and PEAK records peak values. The micro-USB port is used only for charging the battery. The built-in 3.7 V Li-ion battery charges at 5 V DC via micro-USB. Typical uses include lighting checks in greenhouses, production workshops and photo studios. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an option.
