The PCE-PMI 3 moisture meter is a small and reliable instrument for measuring moisture in concrete and wood. The user selects the surface material to be measured on the device and then places the metal spherical sensor on the surface. The measurement result is displayed on the moisture meter both numerically and graphically after a few seconds.
For each material and measurement method, a different alarm limit can be stored in the moisture meter. When the measurement exceeds this limit, an audible alarm is activated. The device automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Another special feature of the moisture meter PCE-PMI 3 is that when measuring concrete coatings, it allows the display of the reading based on the calcium carbide method, where the measured value is given in CM%.
