PCE-SMM 1 is a portable, handheld absolute moisture meter for soil. It measures soil moisture from 0 to 50 % with a resolution of 0.1 %, using a 250 mm / 9.84" probe. MIN, MAX and data hold functions, a large LCD and a battery level indicator support fast readings.

Battery power and the compact housing suit work in the field. The water-resistant ABS housing protects the electronics from bad weather and harsh operating conditions. Typical uses are agriculture, crop science, horticulture, botany, landscaping, gardening and environmental testing.
