The PCE-WMT 200 is a Bluetooth wood moisture meter with a ram-in electrode. It measures 44 wood types — 36 hardwoods and 8 conifers, such as beech, spruce, pine and maple — up to 150 % moisture relative to dry matter. Temperature compensation from -20 to 50 °C / -4 to 122 °F works automatically or manually.
Knock a pair of measuring tips into the wood with the ram electrode; the 45 x Ø3.05 mm needles reach 30 mm deep. Select the wood type in the Android or iOS app and the reading appears after a few seconds over Bluetooth 4.0. Readings are saved on the mobile device and exported as CSV or PDF. Power comes from a 9V DC adapter or a 9V block battery.
