Description
Pull clamp accessory for use with force gages, intended for tensile (pull) tests and for holding specimens while measuring force. It provides a secure grip on the test piece and transfers the tensile load to the force gage for strength testing and quality control applications.
The dynamometers are measuring instruments used to determine the tensile or compressive force applied to a body. Their operation is usually based on the deformation of a spring or the use of electronic load cells (load cells), converting mechanical stress into a measurable unit of force, the Newton (N).
