The ambient sound level meter has a measurement range of 30 to 130 dB and can be used in a wide range of activities, such as stamping presses, ventilation systems, or busy streets to check noise levels. With the press of a button, the user can switch the frequency weighting from A to C and vice versa.
A free app is available for Android and iOS devices where live measurements can be received via Bluetooth and stored. Subsequently, via the microUSB port and the software included in the package, the user can connect the sound level meter to a computer to further process the measurement data in CSV format.
The sound level meter has a memory capacity of 32,700 measurements. The package also includes a tripod for stable placement of the sound level meter.
The sound level meter is powered by a 9V battery or a 12V DC power supply for fixed installation. The carrying case allows safe transport of the sound level meter.
