The PCE-SDL 1 is a Class 2 sound level meter and data logger for long-term noise measurement. It records sound pressure level (SPL) from 30 to 130 dB with 0.1 dB resolution, using A or C frequency weighting over 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz. Readings are date- and time-stamped and stored in the meter, up to 129,920 data sets.

The included Windows software reads the data over USB and plots it as a progressive graph. It also sets alarm limits, which the meter signals with flashing LEDs.
