The caliper F 1000/30 is mainly used for measuring the thickness of thin sheets or cellophane, bags.
The rotation of the dial by 0.2 mm instead of 0.1 mm minimizes the impact of temperature differences or other environmental effects. Therefore, it is less necessary to adjust the dial to zero by rotating the cover compared to the more precise and sensitive models F 1101/30 and F 1101/30-0.1.
