The PCE-RVI 8 is a rotational viscometer for liquids. It measures 27 ... 5250 cP, 40.2 ... 141 KU and in g, with an accuracy of ±1 % of range. The KU1 spindle runs at a fixed speed of 200 rpm. Typical uses are quality control in production and laboratory testing of paints, oils and other liquids.
A 5" LCD touchscreen controls the meter and shows readings live, both as values and as a graph. An external sensor measures the sample temperature, so results stay comparable between samples. Optional software links the viscometer to a PC, lists the measuring points in a table and a graph, and exports them as a .csv file. Overload protection shuts the drive off automatically.
