When a chronograph watch is described as “shockproof,” it means that it is designed and built to withstand and absorb shock without affecting its accuracy. This feature is particularly important in industrial environments or laboratories, where often there are vibrations. This anti-vibration behavior is achieved with an internal suspension mechanism and specially designed internal anti-vibration springs that further absorb the vibration forces.
