The PCE-228 is a handheld meter for pH, redox (ORP) and temperature. Readings are stored on an SD card (1 ... 16 GB) as an Excel file, so no extra software is needed for evaluation, or sent live to a PC over the RS-232 interface. Software and the matching RS-232 cable are available as accessories.
Temperature compensation is manual or automatic using the supplied temperature sensor, and the three-point calibration runs automatically. Redox (ORP) measurement needs an additional ORP electrode; we recommend the ORP-14. The meter runs on 6 x 1.5 V batteries, included. It suits pH measurement in the laboratory and on site.
