The PCE-228M is a handheld pH meter for food. It measures pH, redox (mV) and temperature, with readings on a large backlit LCD. Data is logged to an SD card (1 ... 16 GB) directly as an Excel file, so no software is needed for evaluation. The RS-232 interface sends readings live to a PC or laptop; software and cable are available as accessories.
Temperature compensation is manual or automatic via the supplied stainless steel probe. The three-point calibration runs automatically. The supplied CPC-OSH-12-01 electrode with stainless steel blade suits sausage, meat and cheese. Power comes from 6 x 1.5 V batteries (included). Also suitable for occasional pH measurements in the laboratory.
