The ambient sound level meter has a measurement range of 30 to 130 dB and can be used in a wide range of activities, such as in embossing presses, ventilation systems or on busy roads to check noise levels. With the push of a button, the user can toggle the A-weighting of frequencies to C and vice versa.
A free app is available for Android and iOS devices where live readings can be taken via Bluetooth and stored. Then, through the microUSB port as well as the software included in the package, the user can connect the sound level meter to a computer to further process the measurement data in CSV format.
The sound meter has a memory capacity of 32700 measurements. The package also includes a tripod for stable placement of the sound meter.
The sound level meter is powered by a 9V battery or a 12V DC power supply for installation in a fixed location. The carrying case allows safe transport of the sound level meter .
